Whether you and your family want to eat better, spend less time cooking, optimise your budget for groceries, cut on takeaway and expensive and dodgy deliveries, or completely reorganise your fridge, I’m the mate you need. Only available on the Sunshine Coast.

I do all your groceries for a whole week, bring everything to your kitchen, and cook or prep 5 family dinners that you can refrigerate or freeze and serve in just minutes when you need them. I can also organise some healthy snacks for your convenience. Then, I will clean the kitchen and see you next week (or whenever you need me again).

It’s like having your private chef, without the fuss.

HOw it wOrks

Step 1.

We sit down, have a chat and see what we’re up to: your needs, preferences, budget, schedule - all flexible.

Step 2.

I make the shopping list and go get all the goodies, whether we’re talking about butchers, speciality shops, green grocers or supermarkets.

Step 3.

Bring it all to your kitchen, organise everything in your pantry and fridge, cook your planned family dinners and store them accordingly.

Step 4.

Clean the kitchen and wish you a pleasant week.

abOut me

I am Viorel Copolovici. Everybody calls me Vio.

I am a professionally trained chef with a long and diverse experience. After a decade in the corporate world, I followed my heart and chose cooking as a vocation. I trained as a chef at one of the world's most prestigious culinary schools, Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute of London.

Over the past 15 years, I have run a successful culinary blog, several restaurants, and followed a personal mission to transform food into a memorable experience. I am passionate about educating people on the importance of fresh ingredients, sourced locally and grown responsibly and the art of honouring those ingredients by preparing and mixing them creatively.

Since 2017, I have been reaching students worldwide through my online cooking courses on Udemy.

Since 2019, alongside my wife and daughter, I’ve called the beautiful Sunshine Coast home. For six years, I have cooked for our community from my small restaurant in Maroochydore. Now I’m taking the next step and cooking from your home.

Service Fees

Flat Fee Vio Cooks: $300

(+ market cost of ingredients)

The fee includes:

  • Cooking 5 family dinners (at your place);

  • Purchasing, transporting, and organising all groceries for the week;

  • Cleaning after cooking.

Ingredients: I buy the ingredients on your grocery list, and you pay the exact vendor’s prices.

Examples of meals (all ready to heat and serve)

BAKED: lasagnes, pies, pasta/rice/veggie bakes, pastry rolls, slow-cooked meats with side dishes, casseroles etc.

STEWS: beef, lamb, pork, poultry, curries on fried rice, potatoes, vegetables, polenta, quinoa etc.

Ready-to-mix sauces, soups, purées etc.

Pre-cooked greens and roots

Cheese and charcuterie boards

DESERTS: cheesecake, tiramisu, chocolate mousse, chocolate cake etc.

Additional family dinner on top of the minimum 5 included in the flat fee: $45

Chopping & prepping fruit/vegetables boxes ready to serve, stir fry, juice or toss in salads: $10/kg

Private dinner cooked and served to order by Vio: $50 per person.
